The team from France were unbeaten after two matches. Then we combined the might of the English to take them on but the French were a much stronger side and won yet again.

The French team then left to return home leaving the Dragons and the Eels the last fixture of the festival. Both sides played a spirited match. The Eels found their form in the second half and kept their shape scoring some great tries. Despite this we lost by 7 tries to 4. Overall for the first game of the season some excellent work and everyone supported their team mates. As a coaches we couldn't have asked for more.
